How do I store Ibéricos fresh products?

Generally our products do not require refrigeration or special storage conditions. For some specific products (i.e. anchovies) we specify you directly on product sheet.

What about the Jamón Ibérico or Manchego cheese?

Before you cut into it, you will easily keep for 3 months. In the case of Jamón Iberico it's best to store it on a ham holder or hang it, because it's best to cut from it regularly, to keep it from drying out.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

Generally do not need refrigeration. Sliced Ibéricos or cheeses are best kept in the refrigerator once you open them.

Vacuum packed products?

In several cases, our products are vacuum-packed. This ensures long preservation of the product while maintaining its flavor, aroma, colour and texture.

What are the white specks that appear in some Jamón Ibérico?

They are crystallisations made up mainly of an amino-acid called tyrosine which appears during the degradation of proteins. They are not harmful at all. On the contrary, he used to denote an optimum curing and ripening.

We recommend removing the products from the refrigerator 30 minutes before consumption to oxygenate and so appreciate its excellent qualities.

The Jamón Ibérico, Manchego cheese and other Ibericos products should be at room temperature at the time of tasting, this way their nuances, unique aromas and flavours emerge. 



Shipping in my country and city?

When you place an order, we will ask you specify the city and the zip code where you want we ship it. At that time, we tell you if Food&Tapas delivery at your city.

Shipping is available to all U.S. states and Washington DC. For shipments to other countries, please contact Customer Care Service.

When will I receive my order?

Orders will be delivered in 3-7 days in the case of standard delivery, a next-day (business day) in the case of next-day delivery (some states does not apply).

Delivery orders placed after 12.00 PM EST (Monday through Friday on business days) at weekends or on public holidays, it will be processed in the next business day available. For further information, please read Terms of Service.

Can I choose the delivery date?

Yes, when you place an order, you can specify shipping method: NextDay Shipping or Standard Shipping (3 to 7 days). 

Shipping is free?

Yesss, delivery is free for orders over $175.

For small amount orders (in the case of orders below $175) we charged $14,95 for Standard delivery and $48 for Next-day delivery; except offers.

Standard taxes are included?

The prices on this Webpage are quoted in USD (taxes not included) or EUR (taxes not included). 

Food&Tapas allows users the option to select the destination country before placing their order, so that they can see the prices with the corresponding taxes included.

What about with sales tax?

Due to the current legislation, Food&Tapas is required to charge sales taxes on all orders with delivery addresses in several states, counties and cities in the United States. Sales taxes will be charged in accordance to the states applicable rate.
